So, the latest version works perfectly on the MA2 onpc.
But If I wanted to use the software with a full-size MA2 desk. is it as simply as creating an MA-net session with the onpc? cause I can't make the desk connect to the onpc in MAnet while sending the bomac artnet in loop?
so basicly I'm kinda struggling with it :p
have you used the bomac with a full-size desk yet? If so, how did you set it up?
thanks!
Full Size MA2
Re: Full Size MA2
Art-Net can send directly to the console without using onPC.
Just connect the laptop to the same network as the console.
Make sure that your network adapter has an Art-Net IP assigned.
When you connected both systems, the console will show up in the project settings (if there is an Art-Net input configured).
Note: There is a bug in MA-Software which does not send the Art-Net "Network"-parameter correctly. If you are using an other net than zero, than you need to add it manual in bomac!
You are talking about a loop. Are you talking about that loobback-adapter from microsoft?
If you are using a real network you don't need it and you can disable it.
If you are doing so, you can also start onPC on laptop for using it as slave/backup.
The Art-Net MUST be send to the MASTER or to an broadcast IP (2.255.255.255 or 10.255.255.255 depending on your Art-Net Range)
